Handmade misses bell bottom hip hugger pants sewn from Simplicity pattern 5143 dated 1972. I used a white soft corduroy fabric and added front and back patch pockets. Zipper and snap closure in front Pants are made to be worn 2 1/4 inches below normal waistline.

Check your measurements against these I took of the finished pants.

Measurements: 40 inch hip, 11 inch crotch to hip (hipsters), 29 1/2 inch inseam. Flare on pants measures 13 inch laid flat for a total of 26 inches altogether.
