This is a short skirt with detachable suspenders handmade by me. I used a 1973 Simplicity Pattern #5924. Fabric is a vintage lightweight wool striped. Contrast on pockets is a brown gabardine fabric. Zipper is a new from old stock vintage brown metal. Two hook and eye closures. Vintage assorted brown buttons sewed inside of waistband. The suspenders have button holes to attach to the buttons. Each seam is overcast along the raw edge to prevent raveling. Hem is finished with a blind hem stitch.
Measurements: 26 inch waistband, 19 inch skirt length.
Skirt can be hand washed in cold water, lined dried, iron with wool setting.
