One of a Kind Handmade misses bell bottom hip hugger wide leg pants sewn from Simplicity pattern 5143 dated 1972. I used a cotton duck cloth fabric. A big flower pattern. Fly front with a new metal 5" Zipper and 4 snap closures in front. Pants are made to be worn 2 1/4 inches below normal waistline. Over casted raw edges of each seam.
Check your measurements against the finished pants.
Measurements: 36 inch waist made to be worn 2 1/4" below waistline. 42 inch hip, 11.5 inch crotch to waistband, 31 1/2 inch inseam. Flare on pants measures 42 inches (bottom width of leg).
Fabric was laundered before being cut and sewn. A fabric flaw was found and repaired (left back of pants near crotch seam). And waistband has a mark (see pic).
